Senior Unix (Email) Engineer

Match.com is searching for a Senior Unix (Email)Engineer to maintain deliverability, manage ISP relationships and maintain the systems environment. Responsibilities: Implementing site features and functions in production environments. Troubleshooting performance issues.  Monitoring and ensuring delivery to Match.com users. Leveraging relationships with domestic and international ISPs to resolve delivery issues. Patching and maintenance of systems. Management of internal monitoring systems. Drive the continuing evolution of Match.com’s email systems. Recommending, designing and implementing systems email architecture, including operation system and hardware configurations. Providing leadership in the Match.com Global Operations team and demonstrating the ability to lead by example and well as providing expert assistance to the other team members. 4+ years experience working with Unix or a Unix derived platform. 3+ years experience supporting Unix based MTAs (Postfix/Qmail). 2+ years experience supporting high volume, high availability SMTP systems. 2+ years experience supporting Microsoft Windows Servers. 2+ years experience with Nagios preferred. Extensive knowledge of Internet technologies preferred.
