Summary:

This position will allow you to be part of a team that supports and maintains the corporate/stores Windows environment, the WAN/LAN, and acts as second level support to the corporate help desk.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Package and deploy applications utilizing SMS.Monitor server performance with MOM.Installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows Workstations. (All versions). Desktop and server troubleshooting and performance analysis. Maintain and support corporate servers and data backup. Maintain and support Exchange 2003 servers. Maintain and support corporate Web servers (IIS 6,)Maintain and support SQL 2000/2005 servers.Maintain and support LAN infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, IPS, Proxies etc).Assist in various daily Network Administration tasks.

 

Qualifications:5-7 years-software distribution (SMS)9-12 years-in technology support field of LAN OS’s (NT, 2000, XP, 2003 etc…)9-12 years-Network topologies, I.E.  switches, routers, hubs9-12 years-network server hardware (RAID5 disk, tape backup, security, SAN)9-12 years-desktop computer skills, PC hardware and software1-2 years-Cisco IOS support5-7 years-software distribution (SMS)Comprehensive knowledge of PC, server hardware and software. Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocolComprehensive knowledge of Windows NT Server, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003 and AD. Comprehensive knowledge of SQL server 2000 and database administration. Comprehensive knowledge of SMS2003Working knowledge of Firewall/Proxy productsWorking knowledge of current LAN / WAN technologies. Excellent oral and written communication, strong problem solving and decision making ability, project management and initiative
