You will design, deploy and support all aspects of the Server infrastructure consisting of technologies such as MS AD 2003, Citrix Presentation server 4.x, HP SAN systems, MS Exchange server 2003+, MS SMS 2003, Veritas Backup Exec, and Trend Micro Antivirus. This role will provide a secure network environment through your knowledge of standard (best practices) network security policies/procedures including the use of, MS Group Policies and Network File Security. Essential Job Functions: 1 Provides technical expertise for appropriate level distributed systems environments on issues related to servers, local services, data centers, server configuration, and to ensure that client needs are met. 2 Participates in requirements definition, specification, design, development, and integration of systems and network management on projects to ensure services adhere to client specifications. 3 Tests, integrates, maintains, and addresses escalated problems in systems environments for smaller sized projects, including testing and integrating hardware and software, using necessary resources and personnel. 4 Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on already established servers or networks. Supports periodic maintenance and upgrades of distributed computer environments. 5 Performs risk and consequence assessment for projects; assists in identifying cost reduction opportunities to safeguard company and client interests. 6 Coordinates with technical staff in providing clients with appropriate level support services. 7 May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. 8 Assists client in setting the company distributed computing strategic technology direction based on experience and feedback from users. Basic Qualifications : 1 Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 2 Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred 3 Four or more years of related experience 4 Experience working with computer server hardware, operating systems, and specific applications within distributed systems environments 5 Experience working with systems management frameworks, protocols, and tools 6 Experience working with appropriate software and hardware programs Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
