Our Infrastructure Solutions Services Management (SM) practice provides strategy, assessment, design/redesign and implementation solutions for Public Services clients in all areas of Services Management and ITIL. The specific focus for this position will be in the area of Operational Support System (OSS) design and implementation.Primary Responsibilities will be:Contribute to one or more Services Management projects through assessment, design and/or implementation of services management technologies.Provide an assessment of client technologies used for the management of IT services, applications, systems, storage and networks.Support the definition of technology requirements and the selection of Service Management technologies in support of target state process designs.Manage client relationships in delivery rolesContribute to the growth of our practice through solution and business development supportMentor and manage junior team membersPosition-specific Requirements: 5+ years strong background in IT operations and/or support5+ years experience in the design and implementation of Operational Support Systems (OSS) for service providers5+ years experience in Service Management initiatives5+ years hands-on experience with one or more leading IT management product families (e.g. HP OpenView, Micromuse, BMC Patrol/Remedy, Tivoli, CA Unicenter, Remedy, EMC Smarts, etc.)5+ years experience and certification in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) a plus5+ years strong Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access BS or BA Degree in IT, Engineering or Business requiredUS Citizen Logistics:Travel more than 50% may be requiredBearingPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability or any other basis covered by law.
