Share Point/MOSS Engineer 2003/2008 Administrators/Engineers

Our direct client is a major Energy company.  They are seeking 2 Share point/MOSS 2007 engineers/Administrators to achieve a company wide upgrade.

 

Responsibilities

Install/Configure distributed environments for Microsoft Project Server 2007 and WSS 3.0

Perform routine monitoring of the various tiers (web, application, database) of the MS Project Server and WSS software infrastructure to ensure high reliability

Perform backup and recovery of farm data (combined Project Server 2007 and WSS 3.0 data) to enable effective software testing

Perform comprehensive testing of MS Project Server 2007 and the related software upgrades

Administer Project Server 2007

Perform WS 3.0 operations and application management

Work closely with customers to plan/coordinate/execute migration of Project Server 2003 data to Project Server 2007

Troubleshoot Project Server 2007 and interface with Microsoft Premiere in escalating bugs/issues

Troubleshoot WSS 3.0 and interface with Microsoft Premiere in escalating bugs/issues

Develop best practices for the delivery and support of Project Server 2007

Support both Project Professional 2007 and Project Web Access clients.

Diagnose and resolve installation and configuration issues, connectivity and authentication issues.

 

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Enterprise Applications such as Project Server 2007

Experience in delivering, administering and supporting Microsoft Project Server 2003 and Microsoft Project Server 2007

Ability to set up test environments for MS Project Server 2003&2007

Experience in migration of Project Server 2003 data to Project Server 2007

Ability to administer and support Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

Experience in at least one of SQL Server 2000/2005, t-SQL scripts and SQL Server Analysis Services.

Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 -- Active Directory, IIS and SMTP Server as related to Microsoft Project Server deployment and support

Experience in setting up web, application and database servers in a Windows Server 2003 environment

Working knowledge of basic project management concepts

Please have expertise in Engineering/administration of Sharepoint 2003/2007

Please have the ability to do this function on large scale, enterprise class environments

Please have recent experience in the MOSS Sharepoint environment

I am open on rates but need to keep this on a w2 rate

All candidates need to be on site.  This effort is in the Bay CA area.
