Job Description

Seeking a Mid-level SharePoint developer with documented experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining knowledge management portals to support the Office of the Chief Financial Executive (Defense Intelligence Agency). Individual shall have specific experience with web technologies to include SharePoint Portal Server 2003, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL Server.  Person should be able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Individual must be able to analyze user requirements, design, build, and implement software modifications. Successful candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills.

 

Daily tasking includes:

­ Design and establish a “next version” FE-CAG portal with utility enhancements

­ Independently add to, delete from, and organize portal content

­ Design and extract reports and metrics from CAG portal

­ Ensure the fidelity of all portal content, including files and links

­ Recommend updates and changes to portal format, structure, and content to best support portal  users.

­ Implement updates and changes to the portal format, structure, and content

­ Maintain cognizance of and links to other DIA portals for best utility to portal users


Desired Skills :  ­ Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with MS SharePoint in developing dynamic knowledge management applications.­ Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Computer Science or related subject).  ­ Web/Web Part development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).  ­ SQL Server database experience writing stored procedures, views, and triggers a plus.­ Experience with Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory is a plus.
