SHAREPOINT BUSINESS ANALYST – Contract
Location: Bannockburn, IL.
Business Analyst, Accountable for thoroughly understanding the business processes associated with a given project so as to determine how to automate parts of the business process.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the management of the user requirements and assisting in the translation of the business problem to a technical solution.
· Representing stakeholder needs by coordinating the collection and verification of customer and business needs, documenting and organizing the business processes - which are used as input requirements for the system's functionality, eliciting and writing the requirements of the software project, communicating the requirements to the entire team, outlining the system's functionality and delimiting the system.
· Requirements management plan, use-case modeling guidelines and other requirements guidelines for the whole project. The Resource assigned to the SharePoint 2007 Implementation project will focus on Business deliverables; should be business user oriented and are expected to be highly knowledgeable of the SharePoint 2007 technology. Activities required by the supplier on this sub-project may include, but are not limited to:
· Create Project Charter
· Project Kickoff & Team Training • Develop Project Plan
· Align Key Stakeholders Evaluate the existing As Is Assessment - Provided from earlier project (new project team should review & refine if necessary) Stakeholder Alignment
· Align with key business users/Stakeholders with the strategy/objectives of the project.
· Communicate Conceptual & Detail Designs to Client/Team. Assess Business Change Management & Organizational Impact Develop Business Readiness Assessment
· Assess amount of change
· Assess impact on people & organization
· Assess impact on systems/technology
· Assess other factors that may impact project implementation
· Develop top-line action plan Conceptual Designs
· Business – requirements, process, visual, etc.
· High level future state concept Detailed Business Process Design
· Document the detail business process (es) (process workflow, interface, roles, guidelines, policies, procedures, etc.)
· Develop Communication Strategy
· Develop Communications • Deliver Communications Testing
· Develop Test Plan • Develop UAT Scripts
· Conduct UAT
· Document results
· Record/report issues Training
· Develop Training Plan
· Develop Training Materials Support
· Develop Transition to Support Strategy/Gateway to Production
· Develop Support Materials
· Align with Centralized Client Support (CCS) group, Align Key Stakeholders.
Requirements:
7+ years Internet/Intranet, HTML,DHTML,XML
7+ years Microsoft
2+ years Sharepoint 2007
