Sharepoint/DotNET developer

Responsibilities Include:

1.  Designs, develops, and implements web-based workflow applications to support business requirements using Microsoft SharePoint and .NET technologies.

2.  Design and update SharePoint portal site data.

3.  Assist the project team in translating business requirements into technical requirements.

4.  Follows approved life cycle methodologies, industry standard concepts, best practices

5.  Creates design documents, and performs program coding, unit testing and testing.

6.  Produce high quality commented code and database scripts

7.  Developed highly interactive web user interfaces

8.  Ensures application code and database scripts integrity through the usage of a configuration management tools

9.  Installs and configuration new release from development, verification and production environment.

10.  Provide demonstration to the end users of newly released functionalities.

11.  Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

12.  Be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

13.  Assist in execution of CMMi process areas for continuous improvement

14.  Assist in risk mitigation strategy

15. Applicant must be able to work in a team environment 



Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in computer related field with strong, full life-cycle development background

- 1+ years experience building SharePoint sites and workflows.

- 3+ years experience with development of .NET web-based applications

- Very strong analytical and programming knowledge, especially knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2005 and SQL 2005

- Very strong communications (written and verbal) skills
