Software Developer/Analyst - C#/Java - 6 months contract to hire

We are currently looking for a STRONG Software Developer with SOLID C# and Java Programming skills to join our team in a contract to hire capacity.  LOCATION: Near Dolphin Mall in Miami, FL (5 miles West of Miami International Airport)  ****Due to the nature of this opportunity the candidate must be a U.S. citizen. ****  Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Requires a BS in computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Minimum 2 years experience in C# and Java programming language experience are required Experience with Windows development tools (e.g. Visual Studio) and with Oracle is desired Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Required ability to work well individually or as member of a project team Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Approximately 25% travel within Florida and in San Antonio, Texas. Consultant will be reimbursed for expenses Vehicle Ownership required. Valid drivers license with clean motor vehicle record. Driving travel within South Florida region (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Myers, etc) You must reside in Miami, Florida (preferably West Miami.) Description of Job Duties: Serve systems in Miami, Florida region design, implementation, testing emphasis on on-site maintenance an on-call rotation and periodic visits to company facilities as a member of project teams to develop and maintain software for intelligent transportation. Perform all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements generation, software integration, installation, maintenance activities, and developing required documentation with an emphasis on-site maintenance and support activities. Requires constant interaction with clients. Position requires being in after hour support and maintenance activities.
