Software QA/Release Engineer

If you are an outstanding QA / Release engineer who can make strong contributions to the Q/A, test, and release processes in a growing software group, this position is for you.The candidate must have the following experience and skills: Design, implementation, and execution of automating regression tests for Windows-based C++ applications Experience administering an automated test and build platform Good software release process skills Code control processes using Subversion or CVS Implementation and deployment of complex installation packages including web-based licensing The ideal candidate is a QA engineer with a degree in software engineering or related field, with 3 years in a commercial environment. Strong process and technical skills essential, experience with software development processes for medical systems subject to FDA 510K or 21 CFR 11 is beneficial. Familiarity with microscopy or the life sciences a plus.You will join a capable software team that develops applications for image analysis in biology and medicine (particularly pathology), and will have responsibility for overall release and testing.
