Apptis is looking for a Software Tester to join our team in Arlington, Virginia!

The qualified candidate will perform IV&V software tests, define test parameters, design test scripts, interpret test results and analyzes test results.  The candidate will be responsible for investigating and analyzing unique or customer-related issues relating to test failure and following up with the customers and the DEA personnel

A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, and two to four years of related experience are required.  Experience with the following skill sets is key:

• Working knowledge of configuration management and IV&V testing concepts, plans, and scripts

• Working knowledge of Rational Tool Suite (Test Robot, Test Manager, Requisite Pro, ClearCase, ClearQuest)

• Familiarity with SQL, Visual Basic or other languages

• Demonstrated experience applying recognized quality assurance standards (e.g., SEI-CMM/CMMI, ISO 9000, ITIL, etc.) to IT projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications

An active DOD Secret clearance or equivalent is mandatory.
