Software - Web Development Engineer We are looking for a top-quality software engineer to work on building Acxiom’s proprietary tools for delivering our behavioral targeting solutions for the web. Responsibilities include: Development of technical specifications based upon functional specifications provided by product management Implementation of our proprietary technology, written in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and other technologies as necessary Delivery of fully unit-tested code to QA Documentation of all code Code maintenance as requiredRequired Experience:2+ years experience working in a professional software development organization 2+ years experience in Web development  Technical Skills Required/Desired:Python or similar scripting language programming skills Strong client-side scripting skills (JavaScript, DHTML and CSS) and other web development technologies RDBMS knowledge with Oracle experience Unix/Linux development experience Exceptional analytical, design, and debugging skills Experience working with CVS source code management system User Interface development experience is a plus.Addition Requirements:Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills; details oriented Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environmentEducation Required:BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)AA/EEO Company: Acxiom Corporation Location: Foster City, te 94404 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development
