Security (Solution) Sales Leader

LIVE ANYWHERE on West Coast or in TX

Travel 50% to 75% (traveling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends)

 

The Security Sales Leader is responsible for sales & financial performance in the Security & Privacy Service Product Line. Looking for solution sales people, not just hardware or software sales people… but candidates that can craft a logical high level DVS total solution for the client. Looking for the "fire in the belly" salesperson with good presentation skills. Focus on key accounts to drive logical & physical IT security portfolio for opportunities over $100K. Candidates should have strong seller SME background in either Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Identity & Access Management (IAM), or Physical Security. You will be required to develop security in key accounts & support new business opportunities which include defining & closing opportunities, determining engagement scope & cost projections, formulating solution, functioning as Security Sales SME.

 

Duties include proposal development, sales mgmt., consultative sales, validating & scoping opportunities, progressing deals through sales stages, & ensuring high customer satisfaction w/sales deliverables. Experience selling in a sector such as Finance, Distribution or Public Sector is preferred. CISSP desired. Ideal candidate will have the following experience/knowledge: Sales Experience; Consultative Selling & Business Case Development; Client Relationship Skills; Strategic Security Business Themes & Issues; and Logical and Physical Security SME Knowledge.

 

Required At least 3 years experience in security or technical services sales leadership Readiness to travel 50% to 75%; traveling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends English: Fluent

Preferred Bachelor's Degree At least 1 year experience in Consultative Selling and Business Case Development At least 1 year experience in Strategic Security Business Themes and Issues At least 6 months experience in Digital Video Surveillance Knowledge At least 6 months experience in Physical Security Knowledge Basic knowledge in Security Offering Proficiency Basic knowledge in Server, Storage, Middleware Knowledge At least 6 months experience in Logical Security SME Knowledge Certified in CISSP

Top Ten qualifications for the perfect DVS sales candidate (not in priority order)
1. Located in Texas, California, or a major metro area
2. Proven track record of success in selling DVS / physical security solutions (not just products)
3. Knows the DVS products: cameras, video management software, storage, monitors, command center
4. Understands networking including wireless and IT infrastructure (servers, storage, etc.)
5. Has sold to public sector / public safety
6. Self starter who can work independently
7. Knows access control, perimeter defense and other physical security solutions in addition to DVS
8. Able to have discussions and build credibility with both C-suite executives and operations / facility managers
9. Good writing skills in order to prepare proposals and SOWs
10. Comfortable presenting in front of diverse audiences
