Summary:  This position requires the ability to successfully prospect, manage, and close new sales opportunities across various vertical markets in the IT and Forward/Reverse Logistics marketplace. The successful candidate must be able to use consultative selling skills to clearly define customers’ business requirements and recommend a client solution that will solve their business issues. Proven consultative selling experience is a must.

 

Job Description: This position is responsible for quickly understanding our strategy and then successfully selling our unique middle market IT/Logistics Services suite of offerings. This also includes selling multi-year services contracts with a predictable and profitable annuity stream. This position will sell new business within assigned territory to include: cultivating leads, and networking. Makes presentations to various decision making audiences to close new business. Ideal candidate would come from a major logistics or IT consulting company. 

 

Qualifications:

§ Must be a hunter and demonstrated closer.

§ Documented sales accomplishments.

§ 10+ years of demonstrated sales experience in IT, Forward/Reverse Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Freight/Transportation

§ Consistently exceeded $1m+ annual quotas

§ Strong skills in: prospecting, relationship management, and closing.

§ Demonstrated success in working with all C-level positions in an organization.

§ Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills and oral communication.

§ Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with changing needs and requirements.

§ Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with strong time management skills.

§ Proficient in MS Office and internal CRM tools e.g. Salesforce.com.

§ Requires BS/BA in related discipline with MS/MA preferred.

 

 

Compensation:  This position is highly compensated and leveraged very competitively for a substantial income at or above plan.
