You will handle the following Maintain general ledger for multiple entities (domestic and foreign), prepare and input monthly journal entries, review and explain variances from budget and forecast. Provide support for both internal and external audits.Perform a variety of financial reviews which would include product, customer, and segment profitability. Assist in the preperation of sales and use tax returns in compliance with state and local tax code. Provide support for identifying and implementing controls required for Sarbanes Oxley. Assist in annual budgeting process. Qualifications: Accounting degree or work equivalent preferred, CPA a plus. Minimum of 3 years previous accounting experience. Position requires strong organization skills, and a results-oriented work ethic. A thorough understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation is a must. Ability to work without close supervision and excellent communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Oracle 11i (including report writing experience would be ideal).
