Sr. Business Development Manager
Role and Responsibilities:The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead new business development and sales, including personal revenue generation, expanding current named accounts and in working in setting up a lead generation/marketing team based out of India. In addition cultivation of partnership opportunities will also be part of this responsibility. This person will have to penetrate into net new accounts using a combination of cold calling and lead generation programs. He/she will have to interact with groups out of our offices in India to ensure proper pre-sales support and to ensure that services are effectively delivered to customers. More specifically the BDM will be expected to: ** Leverage his/her existing relationships to identify, qualify and close projects and consulting engagements with large corporate specifically in the financial services market; ** Participate in increasing brand awareness in various industry segments in NA thru new business development, trade shows, etc; ** Build a pipeline of prospects and potential engagements in 2007 leading upto significant revenue growth in 2008; ** Partner effectively with client relationship management and delivery teams; ** Travel domestically & to India as needed; ** Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities with firms that have relevant solutions for the Financial Services; ** Achieve revenue and profit targets; ** Maintain & increase current growth rates; ** Espouse the company**s core values of Integrity, Respect and Leadership. EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:The NA Sales Head should possess the following experiences and characteristics:** 8+ years of overall work experience; ** 4 + years of experience selling financial software services in the US preferably in the East Coast/NYC region. ** History of achieving team revenue goals of $2M+ in a offshore IT services environment; ** Proven background of closing turnkey project engagements and consistently achieving or exceeding personal revenue and profit targets; ** Good contacts and a fluency with the business and technology issues facing corporate; ** Experience working in a global outsourcing environment and leveraging offshore resources specifically from India; ** Reputation for being highly ethical and working very collaboratively with other parts of the organization; ** Personal attributes to include: consultative, mature, tenacious, resourceful, collaborative, dynamic, self-reliant; ** Possesses teamwork and good communications needed for success in a rapidly growing organization.
