Sr. Business Development Specialist

CD Group (www.cdgroup.com) is a consulting firm and value added reseller of Oracle ERP software (EBS and JD Edwards) and Business Intelligence software for Oracle and Cognos.  we leverage these technologies within our professional services organization to assist clients with their business needs.

We are looking to fill a Senior Business Development Specialist position based in our Norcross, GA headquarters locations.

Success in the position will include lead generation for consulting services and add-on products in the J.D. Edwards and Oracle installed base of customers.  You will work very closely with field-based sales teams on initiating sales cycles.  Product functionality you will be selling includes BI, Analytic Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, CRM, and all associated consulting services provided by CD Group. 

Position is based in our headquarters location in Atlanta and requires no travel.



Responsibilities include:Work with Marketing and Regional Sales teams to identify and prioritize key accounts Research, identify, qualify and develop pipeline of customer prospects Contact accounts to develop interest, determine decision maker, and set up meetings Develop a plan of attack for your designated territory, including marketing promotion activities Provide timely and accurate management reports as requested

Minimum Requirements:Self-starter, highly motivated and organized Strong oral and written communication skills PC literacy, including Office Suite of products BA/BS/BBA Business, Management, Marketing, Sales

Preferred Requirements:Minimum of 2-5 years of B2B outside or inside sales experience Knowledge of ERP Software Familiar with warm and cold-calling, account development Experience with CRM software and on-line database research Marketing experience, including promotions, research, account strategy

This is very demanding, office-based marketing position with base salary of $40-45K and first year bonus and commission plan in the $20-30K range.
