Sr Care Delivery Applications Security Architect

Develop a security architecture that supports KPs care providers in efficiently and seamlessly providing and ensuring that these solutions are secure and compliant.This position matrix reports to the Enterprise Architecture and KP Information Security Organizations.Security responsibilities:1)Assessing the current state of security across the portfolio of care delivery applications, including but not limited to:a. Pharmacy systemsb. Network connected biomedical devices / systemsc. KP HealthConnect (EPIC based)3)Define architectural objectives and requirements aligned with business, technology, and security strategies4)Assess technical capabilities and opportunities with internal technical groups and vendors5)Maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure that KPs security needs are being represented in the vendors product roadmaps6)Develop information security architectures across the care delivery space7)Communicate and socialize architectures with internal stakeholders to build support8)Participate in the product selection process9)Track and evaluate execution against architecturesRequirements:1)4+ years of experience in an IT architecture field.2)Prior experience in a healthcare environment and with healthcare systems is required.3)Prior technical knowledge of Epic is preferred.4)Prior security architecture expertise is preferred.5)The candidate must have a deep background in technical security concepts and issues across a broad range of technologies. 6)The candidate must be able to demonstrate creativity, security thought leadership, and must be comfortable working in a corporate environment where results are achieved through influence and collaboration.7)The candidate must have strong communications skills. 8)The candidate must be able to develop a strong technical team capable of delivering against defined objectives.Education:1)Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience; a Graduate Degree is preferred.Certifications1)CISA, CISSP, GIAC or other information security / technology audit certifications preferred.2)The Open Group ITAC certification preferredWorking Relationships1)KP Information Security (Office of the CISO) peers2)KP-IT Architecture Organization3)National Compliance Office4)KP Information Security Council5)KP Information Security Leadership Team1)Regional Information Security Officers2)Business Information Officers3)Regional Compliance Officers4)Regional Privacy and Security Compliance Officers5)Vendors and consultants6)Regional business management7)Physicians and other care providersPhysical Requirements / Travel:1)Limited travel.Work Environment:1)Office, Oakland or Pleasanton CAJoin us and be a part of a team that is revolutionizing the way health care is delivered.
