Sr. Data Analyst

JOB FUNCTION:  The Sr. Data Analyst assists in database administration for configuring and maintaining SQL databases, performing reporting analysis, data research, data maintenance and other related duties and processes to advance the automation of systems in accordance to our Statement of Work.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine maintenancePerform code migration following CM proceduresIdentify, troubleshoot and resolve web server, application, interface and database issuesIdentify and report issues with OS, HW and/or network that affect application operationsMonitor system performance and optimize as necessaryCommunicate, track and document issues using existing proceduresAdminister and manage application security schemaImplement security schema through user and security group managementInstall, upgrade and remove application packages

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Database and report design experience with Actuate, Crystal Reports, Cognos or like productCreative problem-solving skills, strong teamwork skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

 

EXPERIENCE:  1-2 year working knowledge of MS Office, Maximo 5.2 or higher, Oracle, SQL and XML and/or JavaScript.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Strong Customer Service background desired.Able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.

 

SECURITY:  Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
