Be a part of a dynamic team that shares a passion for making YELLOWPAGES.COM even better for the millions of consumers and local businesses that rely on it daily. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Analyst to join our Technology department in Glendale, California. Reporting directly our Manager of Data Management, this Senior Data Quality Analyst is responsible for analyzing, reporting and developing recommendations on data related to multiple, varied operational metrics. He/she monitors and analyzes data received from partners and third party data sources to determine data completeness and accuracy. The Senior Data Quality Analyst analyzes and develops data requirements, assist in construct and adherence to data and product rules. He/she also develops data feeds for core databases. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of data strategies. Develop data requirements for listings and enhanced data for the core YELLOWPAGES.COM database system. Create and maintain databases to track data quality and accuracy. Analyze data and summarize performance using metrics. Create and publish reports noting deviations and anomalies. Make necessary recommendations and present to Senior Management. Develop computer processing programs to enhance listing and enhanced data prior to loading into core database system. Prepare and sort source documents, and identify and interpret data to be entered. Convert alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into acceptable formats for use in YELLOWPAGES.COM database systems. Work with third party data providers – provide requirements and assist in establishing regular data feeds. Analyze data trends and monitor data for duplications and rejects. Work with partners to upgrade data feeds and write system requirements as necessary. Work with IT department regarding implementation of listings, headings, keywords and scoping standards. Review error reports and develop corrective processes. Respond to inquiries regarding incorrect data. Perform other duties as assigned. Mentor other Data Quality Analysts. QUALIFIED CANDIDATE PROFILE: BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related major is required. 3-7 years experience in data management and analysis is required. Proficiency with MS Excel, Access and SQL Server is required. Fundamental research skills and experience in managing content within a database is required. Experience with database classifications and data access tools. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Quality Assurance background. Attention to detail, adaptability/flexibility, analytical thinking, dependability, cooperation and integrity.
