Job Overview The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely recording and reporting of Professional Services and Education for the U.S. and Canada. ' Supports audit process and requests in conjunction with U.S. transaction audits and deferred income reviews.' Ensures implementation and adherence to relevant SOX process within the geography, while working closely with the GSS business team and related finance teams to update for changes in the process. ' Works closely with the GSS Business Operations team to develop and implement IT and process improvements that drive incremental operating profit to the business unit. Job Functions. ' Ensures accurate and timely revenue and matching cost recognition for U.S. GSS. Revenue approximately $45M per year. ' Coordinates with GSS Global Operations to review and implement new services contract templates for North America. ' Supports implementation and interface of key systems to track and support GSS transaction processing in U.S. and Canada. ' Implements and ensures transaction compliance for SOX control processes in the U.S. in conjunction with GSS portion of order to cash processes.' Oversees the month end close review process. Provides an analytical review of the results.' Works with Operations staff to review financial delivery performance and discuss variances at both the project and practice level. Provides recommendations to the Senior Director Finance on financial disposition of delivery variances. ' Collaborates with the Senior Director on financial analyses. Serves as the liaison between U.S. and Americas financial analyses. Ensures that the tactical resources are available to support the analysis of service pricing.' Oversees system update implementation in conjunction with IT.' Reviews and approves monthly project status report for month close position.' Provides details for monthly review with GSS Americas Finance and Operations for outstanding items and issue resolution. ' Reviews reconciliations for deferred income, WIP labor and un-invoiced receivables.' Approves and implements updates to the financial deal sheet for organization changes, p-code revisions; design changes to support FMV/consistent pricing tests.' Supports financial aspects of implementation of new services in North Americas, in conjunction with GSS Global Development/Operations.' Works on ad hoc projects as needed Primary Qualifications ' 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting; prefer minimum 2 years leadership experience.' 3 years of consulting services finance experience, including familiarity with services revenue recognition and VSOE' Experienced with SOX requirements and implementation of control processes' Familiar with project based IT systems' Competent with Microsoft Office applications, including strong MS Excel Skills' Knowledge of Oracle Applications and/or ChangePoint a plus' Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
