Job Category:Financial Sr Professional Primary Location:USA-VA: VIRGINIA-FALLS CHURCHSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:Regular Yes, 25 % of the Time Job Posting: 04/24/2008Description: CSC's Corporate Consolidation and Reporting Department in Falls Church, VA is searching for a Sr Financial Analyst - Consolidation and Reporting as a result of CSC's Corporate Office relocation from El Segundo, CA to Falls Church, VA!The SrFinancial Analyst - Consolidation and Reporting will assist in the financial reporting and consolidation process.Ref4449Essential Job Functions Assists the Financial Reporting and Consolidation team in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement consolidation Analyzes critical accounts Prepares Form 10-K and 10-Q financial statements, footnotes, cash flow analysis and other required disclosures Reviews financial statements for compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations Assists in monitoring SOX 404 compliance in the financial reporting department Provides accounting guidance to business unit operations as needed Assists on special projects as necessary, such as business combinations or dispositions Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred Five or more years of finance or accounting experience in either financial statement preparation or financial auditing CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred Knowledge of US GAAP and its application Strong working knowledge of basic financial statement preparation and consolidation procedures Working knowledge of Hyperion or similar financial application helpful Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases Experience working with financial analysis Other Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills Good personal computer and business solutions software skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to write/develop Excel macros Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams Good presentation skills Strong organization and time management skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willing to travel during the period of knowledge transfer from El Segundo, CA to Falls Church, VA Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
