Job Category:Financial Sr Professional Primary Location:USA-VA: VIRGINIA-FALLS CHURCHSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:Regular Yes, 25 % of the Time Job Posting: 04/24/2008Description: CSC's Planning and Analysis Department in Falls Church, VA is searching for a Sr. Financial Analyst as a result of CSC's Corporate Office relocation from El Segundo, CA to Falls Church, VA!This position supports corporate and business unit government contract accounting.Ref4449Essential Job Functions Support Corporate, as well as business unit Government Contract Accounting, including preparation of annual overhead claims, annual forward pricing proposal and quarterly variance analysis Significant interaction with external Government agencies including DCMA and DCAA, as well as CSC business units with Government customers/operations Lead, direct and serve as a primary point of contract for various external Government agencies audits, inquiries, etc. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred Five or more years of finance or accounting experience Minimum five to nine years directly related (i.e., Government Contract Accounting) work experience Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases Experience working with financial analysis Affiliation with Government Accounting and/or Contracting organization, such as the DCAA, a plus Strong working knowledge of Government Contract Accounting and contracting concepts, processes and regulations, finance and accounting concepts, personal computers, including Microsoft Office products, financial modeling, spreadsheet and report preparation and presentation Ability to quickly understand CSC's chart of accounts, general ledgers and operating organization and structureOther Qualifications Strong communication skills Good personal computer and business solutions software skills Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams Good presentation skills Strong organization and time management skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must be motivated, self starter, determined, comfortable interacting with a variety of levels both within CSC and external agencies, project a professional image, willing to perform a variety of types of assignments including detail oriented analyses Willingness to do what is required to complete tasks, including overtime as needed Willing to travel during the period of knowledge transfer from El Segundo, CA to Falls Church, VA Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
