Job Category:Project Control Sr Professional Primary Location:USA-DC: DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA-WASHINGTONSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 04/03/2008Description: Essential Job Functions Under minimal supervision, provide primary support for the newly awarded ITS-UP program by providing financial management and control, schedule coordination, contract data administration, functional support and coordination. Requires interfacing with all levels of employees and management. Also support other programs as necessary. Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program. Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Develops financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements. Monitors progress of program requirements. Monitors cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met. Performs complex financial/administrative reporting for major contracts and/or programs. Prepares complex financial/administrative reports and distributes to customers/user organizations. Provide weekly and monthly transactional and pricing support to programs. Conducts complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.). Performs non-routine analysis and prepares non-routine financial reports. Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers and performs extensive investigations as required. May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred Five or more years of experience in finance or accounting Experience working with program control techniques in the Federal Contracting environment Experience working with Federal Contract pricing Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases.
