Sr. Java Developer - St. Louis

We are seeking several candidates for a Java development project in St. Louis.  This is a contracting opportunity, so candidates should be interested in W2 hourly (employees contracting, paid based upon hours billed, generally 40 hours per week) or Independents with S-Corps or LLCs

Looking for a strong Java candidate with the following skill set(s): 3-5 yrs. of Java experience Oracle / SQL Struts, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring IOC JBOSS or WebSphere, JUnit, Web services/WSDL Working knowledge of design patterns and OOD best-practices XML or XSLT is a plus Maven 2 experience a plus Experience on an agile team using Scrum, XP, or TDD is a plus In addition the person should be a self starter, who can dig in and get the job done, function on a team that is not highly structured Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality, unit testing, code coverage, and Javadocs Can go beyond the specs to make sure the work is complete – not just do what they are told
