Sr. Manufacturing Maintenence Analyst

Your role:



Reporting to the IT Sr. Manager for Manufacturing Systems, your role will consist of plant maintenence functional & business analysis, planning, and coordination of the effective and complete delivery of IT plant maintenence solutions and services to the Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Business units of the company.

More specifically, you will have to:

• Understand Pulp and Paper Plant Maintenence processes, specific to both the industry and to Domtar Corporation;

• Successfully analyze plant maintenence functional/business issues and needs;

• Successfully translate needs and proposed solutions to Information Technology requirements, combining knowledge developed in many areas;

• Successfully create actionable plant maintenence IT solutions through the leverage of the entire IT organization to improve the ability for the company to operate and compete in the top quartile of the industry;

• Understand and speak with detailed experience in Pulp and Paper plant maintenence processes and technologies.

 Your profile:

You hold a B.S. degree in Information Technology or similar discipline; You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in delivery of Information Technology, and more specifically, SAP Plant Maintenence technology, in one or more large-scale organizations; You are known for your initiative, communications, and teamwork skills; You have proven skills of issues assessment, solutions planning, and analytical problem-solving; You demonstrate a willingness to travel, work within teams at multiple levels, mentor others, and positively deal with stressful situations in professional work environments; You are sufficiently equipped with the knowledge and training to perform the roles of this position through extensive professional development; Optionally, you are bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English.
