We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, Promotions and Account Services.The selected candidate will be responsible for efforts to generate new business to meet the growth targets for the Food Certification Program; supervises the day-to-day delivery of client service systems for the Food Certification Program; responsible for proactively meeting the demanding needs of a portfolio of key client food companies; heads the counseling, review and approval processes for all promotional usages of the heart-check mark across the AHA, by client food companies and by other licensees; responsible for keeping the Packaging, Advertising, Promotional and Graphic Standards relevant, user-friendly and in compliance with the AHA branding and positioning initiative; delivers activities to increase impressions generated for the heart-check mark including working with companies to create special offers, promotions and other concepts; aids in the execution of the Food Certification Consumer Campaign; generates internal communications efforts for the Program; manages staff, agency partner(s), consultant(s) and temporary clerical support staff as well as special projects assigned by the Director. Major Responsibilities: 1. Monitors and recommends enhancements to overall departmental client services. Establishes and manages in-depth and proactive relationship with a portfolio of top client companies.2. Heads the counseling, review and approval processes for all promotional usages of the heart-check mark across the AHA, by client food companies and by other licensees. 3. Delivers activities to increase the impressions generated for the heart-check mark.4. Aids in the execution of the Food Certification Consumer Campaign, including online and in-store elements.5. Develops and manages system for internal communication of key Food Certification Program milestones, promotions and other activities. Ensures that activities are effectively communicated to key audiences including Senior Staff, Affiliates, volunteers and National Center staff. 6. Manages staff and contractors.7. Coaches and counsels staff to maximize performance. Minimum Qualifications: ' Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising or a related field; MBA a plus.' 7+ years experience in marketing, product, advertising and/or promotional management. One or more years of experience in account service (agency environment preferred). Experience in the food/grocery industry desirable.' Evidence of continued personal growth and development.' Demonstrated competence and success in prior jobs, proven team player, and personal integrity are absolute requirements. ' Proven ability to create and manage systems to effectively deliver client service.' Proven success in developing and executing promotional, sales and integrated communications programs.' Proven ability to build support and excitement among diverse audiences for promotional programs and key business developments.' Proven ability to lead business development (sales) efforts and achieve targets.' Proven ability to employ current technology and online solutions to meet business objectives.Technical/Functional Skill Requirements:In order to execute the responsibilities and accountabilities of this position, the incumbent possesses and utilizes a comprehensive technical and functional understanding of the following critical areas:' Exceptional PC skills, including mastery of Windows/Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); plus, database management experience with ACT! and/or Access.'
