Sr. Program Manager

AMTI is seeking someone to fill a key leadership role as the Senior Program Manager in support of our largest contract, ITSS (IT Support Services) with the FAA. The ITSS contract is currently one of the company’s largest contracts and is continuing to grow. The selected individual will act as the overall manager, business developer, and administrator for the ITSS contract effort. The PM will work closely with AMTI’s executive leadership (i.e., President and COO) as well as senior leadership levels within the FAA. As a result, the candidate must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with senior executives.We are looking for someone that can bring innovation and creativity to the team. Due to the significance of this contract, successful performance in the PM role could lead into an AMTI leadership role.     Job Description:   · Establishing outstanding client relations is essential · Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with the senior level FAA program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues · Supervise program/project operations by: o  developing procedures o  planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort o  monitor, and report progress · Manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources · Manage and control the financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements · Identify, develop and capture new business and be responsible for driving and attaining new business development goals · Responsible for managing/expanding the buying activity of current customer · Work with members of business development, and operations to develop winning solutions · Manage day-to-day operations of the Staff · Develop project plans, schedules, and meet established deliverables · Anticipate future program needs and identify proactive solutions to satisfy needs · Help establish and build relationships with vendors · Oversee all IT-related purchasing and budget usage · Work with Accounting to develop budgets · Hold responsibility for capacity planning and scheduling vendor negotiations related to IT · Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure · Manage, leverage and communicate with Subcontractors

Experience Requirements:    Eight (8) years of management and supervisory experience Experience leading and growing IT contracts Experience effectively employing concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility Exceptional communication skills needed to interface with high-level customer representatives Strong strategic management and planning skills  Ability to publicly represent AMTI with internal and external clients  Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution Education:   Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or related subject Masters of Business Administration (Masters in Computer Science is acceptable in place of an MBA provided the individual also holds a PMI/PMP certification)   AMTI considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, sexual preference, personal appearance, family responsibility, the presence of a non-job-related medical condition or physical disability, matriculation, political affiliation, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
