Sr Quality Assurance Tester (Financial Industry)

Local company is seeking Sr. Quality Assurance Testers that are responsible for developing and implementing test plans and scripts based upon business requirements and processes defined in workflows and use cases; works with Development and Project Managers to identify acceptable range for test results and performance.

 Position Responsibilities:

 Works with the Development Managers to identify appropriate data for testing and prepares that data for the test casesReviews system applications periodically to make recommendations for improvements and enhancementsCreates test plans and executes test scripts to ensure system requirements and specifications are metCoordinates User Acceptance TestingMaintains testing environmentStays abreast on changes and new developments and techniques that will effect and/or improve QA testing policy and procedures

 Candidates must have the following qualifications:

 High School diploma or equivalent4+ years experience as Quality Assurance AnalystProficient in referencing, researching, reporting, tracking and monitoringAbility to work independently with minimal or no supervisionMeticulous, close attention to detail and precisionAbility to multi-t ask with multiple priorities and time framesMust be detailed orientedAbility to develop effective working relationships with customers  and coworkersAbility to make contacts with other departments, requiring tact and judgment to ensure effective supportStrong customer orientationExcellent oral and written communication skills

 

Experience in the Financial Services industry or related business field

Writing SQL queries
