Sr. Sales Support Analyst

Reporting to the Sales Solution Service Manager in Information Technology. This position is responsible for supporting the services and systems for the Red Hat Sales and Partner organization. Duties include, but are not limited to:Supporting information services for Lead, Quote, Opportunity and Order management.Performing root cause analysis for problems discovered in the Sales servicing systems.Monitoring and measuring Service Level Agreements established for the Sales and Partner organization.Support the business requirements definition for detailed functional specifications that impact the Sales serving systems.Supporting integration points between Salesforce.com, Oracle ERP/CRM, and Web systems to meet the services of the Sales and Partner organizations.Working with business and technical staff to coordinate product/technology upgrades.Participating in Level 2 support responsibilities for the Sales serving systems.Rotational on-call participation and coordination for Severity 1 production issues for the Sales serving systems.Interfacing with vendors to resolve product issues.Work closely with an excellent team of other energetic and skilled Information Technology professionals.This is an excellent opportunity for an enterprising, driven individual to contribute significantly to the future of one of the most interesting companies on the planet today.Job Requirements:Four-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills. A team player, effectively interacting with employees at all levels and across global regions. Must be a self-starter with proven, solid attention to detail and consistent follow-up and follow-through capabilities. Must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Strong self-direction and curiosity Good Salesforce.com or other CRM tool experienceGood lead generation business process understandingGood project management skills (managing time lines, resources, etc.) Good conceptual knowledge of ERP/CRM systems and integration design Other highly desirable skills are: Experience working with geographically dispersed teams Experience with Business Objects or other reporting platforms Moderate skill with SQL and/or PL/SQL EOE/M/F/D/V
