Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst  Position Code:07-594Position Schedule:Full Time EmployeeLocation:West Des MoinesJob ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:This position is responsible for ensuring compliance and quality standards are met for multiple information system products and services. The incumbent may coordinate and facilitate training sessions for internal and external customers and may assist in level II help desk issues.Essential Functions:30% Ensures quality assurance standards are met by planning, writing, developing and executing test programs. Establishes and maintains test environment, test data and test tools. May assist in or facilitate end user training for internal team members and external customers.25% Assists end users, systems analysts, designers and programmers to perform work flow analysis. 20% Provides assistance in developing or updating product documentation and training materials for end users. May facilitate end user training for internal team members and external customers. 20% Serves as a technical resource to internal and external customers, providing prompt feedback and resolution regarding issues. Provides guidance to less experienced team members.5% Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Minimum Education & Other RequirementsRequirements:4 yr. degree in field of specialty and/or equivalent training and/or experience; 5 to 8 yrs. experience in an information systems quality assurance environment. Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship.Additional Comments: 5% local and overnight travel. Experience with Mercury's WinRunner testing tool preferred. Experience using scripting automated testing software preferred. Functional knowledge of SQL preferred.
