Sr Software Tester

General Description:
-The Testing Group Leader is a senior member of the testing team with management responsibilities for a small group of testing engineers.
-The Group Leader is typically responsible for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests (i.e., user acceptance testing, system, subsystem or interface testing).
-Will assist in the design, analysis and implementation of testing solutions; participate in client meetings; ensure that engagement work products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction; present conclusions and recommendations; and keep team members informed of project status.


Responsibilities:
-Work with client and Amdocs teams to deliver testing solutions.
-Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction.
-Manage a team of several testing engineers, leading the internal design review of testing materials
-Check the test environment
-Execute, track and report on the test execution
-Analyze the results and communicate status with the client.
-Transfer knowledge, monitor engagement team performance, and provide feedback on the team.
-Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology.


Requirements:
-In-depth knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, Enabler or Clarify)
-2-3 years UNIX experience required
-Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control knowledge (Source Safe principles); S/W architecture for web based and non-web based applications (Client side, Tuxedo and Server side), knowledge of automated tools etc.
-3-5 years demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing solutions
-Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing solutions for Telecom Billing and CRM solutions
-Strong analytical, team lead and leadership skills.
-Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently
