Sr. System Analyst - HR Payroll / Time Capture

Yonkers, NY

 This position has hands on responsibility for the technical health and vitality of the hardware and software used in the KRONOS Time and Attendance system (EZ-Time) during implementation and ongoing operations.Develop and implement interfaces between Kronos and other applications: Lead the survey process for information required by system interfaces; Maintain system-to-system interfaces; Maintain data required by the interfaces external to the system; Learn the Kronos Connect product to support interfaces and develop new as required; Prime contact for data extracts from Kronos.Develop and implement Custom Crystal Reports for Kronos: Prime contact for assisting User community with Crystal reports and generating Crystal reports as necessary; Work with DBA and attend Kronos DB classes to support reports and interfaces.Manage software support of Kronos Time & Attendance application: Apply software patches from Kronos.  Lead QA testing of patches and move to production; Lead support for the Kronos Time capture system (Time Terminals, Touch ID, DCM, Servers, Services, Application Software); Prime contact for investigation of Kronos functional issues not related to set up or rules; Support manipulations of Kronos data required by daily business operations; Backup person for modifying existing Kronos PAY rules and ACCRUAL Rules as requested; Triage technical problems related to time capture; Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing technical system issues.Interface with users, vendors, consultants, and IS staff to coordinate implementation and operation: Co-ordinate with hospital departments to maintain information required by the interfaces; Working with PC field support and Network to deploy and support Time collection devices.Help develop and document application workflows and document Kronos issues and solutions for Client Support.Support Disaster Recovery Set and testing and support Data center Operations and Help Desk for Kronos.

 

Requirements:BS/BA degree in information systems preferred.2-5 years information systems experience in client server systems including 2 years as analyst.Experience with Time Capture systems (Kronos a plus).SQL report generator (Crystal Preferred).Relational databases (Oracle DB a plus).Kronos Connect language (KNX) a plus.Experience with WEB based applications.Experience as prime support for one or more applications in UNIX environment.WIN client and server software.Payroll or Human Resource systems a plus.
