Job Description

Candidate will provide computer desktop support for end-users to include, but not limited to, all end user hardware and software, network connectivity and data management. To provide reports on research of new technologies as assigned. To provide documentation on procedures as assigned. To provide reports on assigned projects.

Candidate will have proficient knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite, PC compatible hardware and peripherals, network cards, network printers and other LAN connected devices. Knowledge and troubleshooting of TCP/IP is required. Candidate must have excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

Specific tasks to include:
- Provide in-depth analysis and resolution of complex system problems;
- Provide recommendations for enhancements and corrections to systems support procedures for efficiency gains;
- Document all changes, including temporary fixes to existing systems and ancillary programs;
- Account management
- File access permissions;
- Add/remove users;
- crontab/script management;
- Implement user requirements using customized solutions and scripts;
- Manage upgrades which includes preparing a list of currently installed software products and versions and preparing a list of currently available product versions;
