Staff Accountant

 A rapidly growing government contracting firm is looking for a Project Accountant to handle all the day-to-day accounting responsibilities for a few of their overseas contracts.  Duties include: completing general account reconciliations; performing bank reconciliations with foreign currency transactions; coordinating billing and managing receivables, financial analysis, preparing financial reports and otherwise participating in the period-end closes.

 

Requirements:

-BS in Accounting or related field is highly desired

-2+ years of experience in a government contracting environment

-Solid understanding of project accounting/billing

-Working knowledge of Deltek accounting systems-A team player with strong communication skills
