Storage Architect - EMC or HDS Specialist

The SANpulse Architect defines our client's networked storage requirements; identifies client standards; creates project requirements; designs optimized solutions; plans and executes solution integration; generates storage optimization work files; prepares reports; tracks project team accomplishments; maintains technical knowledge and contributes to the overable team effort.

Qualifications

Expert-level knowledge of advanced storage systems such as: EMC DMX, EMC CLARIION and/or HITACHI USP, USP-V, AMS, HP EVA or SUN STOREDGE. Responsible for design, development, implementation and technical management of enterprise storage projects.

Handles complex projects effectively. Someone who has "been-there and done-that" in major data consolidation and technical refresh efforts.

Experienced managing clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports based on their roles and needs.

Ability to develop trust with our clients and maintain strong working relationships.

Understands storage optimization project requirements, identifies opportunities and challenges, and develops and implements creative and pragmatic solutions leveraging existing technologies such as: EMC's SRDF, Mirrorview, Open Replicator or HDS' TrueCopy or Universal Replicator.

Experience with implementation, configuration, migration and troubleshooting of EMC or HDS storage, Cisco, McData or Brocade switches and attached Unix and Windows servers.

Can learn SANlogics and use its outputs to inspire technical employees to achieve outstanding results.

Experienced with technical management, including training, coordinating, organizing, monitoring, and coaching technical employees to deliver projects.

BS or equivalent experience preferred.
