Summer Intern-Server Engineer

Position Description

The Server Engineer Intern provides technical support of one or more server operating system platforms including Microsoft Windows, Linux, HP-UX, and AIX.



Overall Responsibilities:Troubleshooting technical support issuesCreating, modifying, and deleting user accounts as requiredPlanning and implementing server maintenance activities including patching and upgradesMaintaining system inventory databaseDocumenting operating procedures



Qualifications:Academic background in computer science with basic knowledge of distributing computingAptitude to learn technologies and new skills quicklyDetail oriented and oriented toward planning and documentation prior to executionStrong communication skillsTeam player
