Summer Internship

CIBER’s Providence RI office is looking to offer an internship program to a student that would allow the opportunity to gain experience and develop an understanding and appreciation of the human resources, recruiting, sales and basic office administration functions of an International Systems Integration Organization.  CIBER is looking for an individual that has excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills and someone who can work effectively in an independent or team environment.  We are seeking a reliable, dedicated intern that is looking for a non-paid internship program that will enable them to gain valuable knowledge about the human resources profession as well as a greater understanding of the demands and expectations of the Information Technology business and industry.  Responsibilities will include;· Working side by side with an experienced recruiter, helping to source candidates via the internet, using a variety of job boards, etc.· Learn how to bring  applicants through CIBER’s ISO governed interview process · Data entry and utilizing CIBER’s on-line internal enterprise-class talent management system (you will learn how to source candidates in the system, enter candidates information, enter job postings, enter requisitions, track and management the entire recruiting and hiring process. · Conducting background checks · Processing and organizing new hire packets and orientation information (including benefit information, payroll procedures, etc.)· Supporting salespeople with the creation of data analysis and research on clients in the industry.  Compiling marketing information for sales support.· Supporting office administrator with the day to day functions of (answering phones, maintaining office supplies, mail distribution, preparing fed-ex packages, filing folders and documents.  We will provide you with insight into the practical aspects of CIBER’s organization and operation through participation and hands-on experience in day-to-day activities.  About CIBER, Inc.
