The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) Supply Chain organization manages the operational relationship between Microsoft and assigned worldwide authorized vendor manufacturers to ensure a proficient supply chain which supports the Microsoft OEM customer base. This is accomplished through cross-group collaboration with all Operational Organizations and other key internal and external partner groups.

The primary purpose of the OEM Supply Chain VAM (Vendor Account Manager) position is to manage the relationship between Microsoft and assigned authorized vendor manufacturers. This key individual directly impacts manufacturability (yes, that's a word), Microsoft product launch readiness, cost of goods sold, and customer and partner experience.

Responsibilities:
- Proactive management of the relationship between Microsoft and the assigned regional accounts and territories
- Conduct regular business reviews with Supply Chain vendors and implement necessary vendor remediation plans.
- Own and drive the development and evaluation of manufacturing and distribution solutions for the assigned territory.
- Lead Supply Chain Operations Management with the creation and execution of special plans, programs, and strategies.
- Work directly with Customer Advocates and OEM/SBC Sales account management to lead development and implementation of supply chain solutions to improve service to external customers.
- Manage vendor readiness for program and product launches.
• Manage Supply Chain operational details including issue resolution associated with product shipments, customer issues, contract compliance, financial compliance, and other Supply Chain areas through temporary and vendor staff.
• Negotiate, amend, and maintain operating account agreements with authorized replicators, authorized, distributors, and fulfillment centers in accordance with contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience (7+ highly recommended) in a supply chain related role
- 3+ years experience managing large-scale outsourced operations involving multiple (5+) concurrent vendor accounts in a global enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles, manufacturing systems, process modeling and design.
- APICS or any other SC-related certification is preferred.
- Strong project management skills are required. PMI Certification is preferred.
- Superb Customer service, written and oral communication skills required.
- Third party provider and vendor management experience is required.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to quickly motivate and influence others.
- Advanced judgment, problem resolution, team building, negotiation, decision-making skills, and the ability to work with continual deadline pressure required.
- B S. Degree required in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft operations and OEM / SBC channel operations is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills (Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
- Spanish and/or Portugese language skills desirable.
- Some travel required - approximately 10%
