We have an excellent opportunity available for Sustainment Engineer in Peoria, IL.



This individual will provide on-site sustainment support services to support the installation, configuration, and system administration of the 182nd ANG at Peoria ANG, tasking includes the following:



- Monitor performance of the ANG HQ WLAN system - including RF infrastructure, security products, and client devices, analyze this performance, troubleshoot problems, and resolve maintenance issues.

- Perform periodic maintenance of all WLAN infrastructure, wireless clients and security infrastructure to ensure system reliability.

- Remote monitoring and management of all ANG WLAN systems.

- Periodic site visits to all ANG WLAN installations for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance.

- Work with ANG HQ Communications Squadron personnel to optimize WLAN and base network performance.

- Recommend and assist with improvements to wired LAN infrastructure as required.

- Design and assist with implementation of new WLAN systems and system enhancements within ANG.



Requirements:

- Must have an active Secret Clearance.

- Possess network certifications such as CCNA or CWNA, or equivalent.

- Experience working with Wireless LAN (WLAN) networks. - Background in troubleshooting and maintenance of WLAN systems.



The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information, which requires a US citizenship.
