COMSYS is looking for a UNIX System Administrator for a contrat position in Plano, TX.System Administrator - UNIX BasicAdditional Information: -UNIX proficient with Certification or equivenelt work experience-felxable hours, on-call responsibilities, weekend and night work and ability to follow standard process.- 2-4yrs UNIX experience on Sun Solaris and/or HPUX Must have practical experience on either Solaris 9/10 or HPUX 11.x Certifications or equivalent work experience on UNIX Servers a plus Looking for candidates that can work as part of a team and follow procedures. Multiple platform experience is a plus. Will be supporting multiple platforms. Candidates should be flexible as to what shift they are willing to work. Candidates that are open to work 2nd/3rd will be considered over candidates that are not flexible on their availability. Communication and documentation skills are very important as well as good MS Word/Excel skills. Participation in an On-Call rotation will be necessary Must be willing to work nights and weekends when the work and the customer require it.
