Location: US-FL-Gainesville/Jacksonville/Ocala Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 30.00 - 40.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 1001005835 Wintel AdministratorThe position of Systems Administrator has the responsibility of maintaining, monitoring and managing the existing Wintel Server operational infrastructure. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to: identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems; responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support; documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution; Additionally these activities and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and removing AD accounts; performing system upgrades; creating system documentation; daily administration; problem resolution; assisting staff and users in problem resolution relating to hardware, software, and communication issues. This position also participates in the design, planning and execution of infrastructure to support new applications and technologies.Required Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server Operating Systems Knowledge of Microsoft systems including, Active Directory and Exchange Knowledge of daily Windows server administration, including system stability, integrity, and troubleshooting Proficiency in upgrading of software and hardware, planning and roll out of servers Proficiency in backup integrity and recovery coordination along with disaster preparedness planning Knowledge of LAN protocols including DHCP, DNS, WINS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and professional appearance Self motivated, with the ability to work in both a team environment and individually Knowledge of the relevant computer systems, applications and equipment to provide customer support of technical terminology, concepts and applications Ability to understand and comply to the relevant department and/or corporate policies, procedures and guidelines as they pertain to customer support Knowledge of relevant commonly-used concepts, best practices, and procedures Knowledge of local and remote computer system diagnostic tools =Proficiency with current versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
