System Administrator

We currently have an opening for a permanent full time System Administrator at our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie.

Job Responsibilities:Provide daily help desk/application support for all employees in the office and remotely.Procure computer related equipment and peripherals.Support phone and voice mail system.Cisco Switch and PIX firewall configuration.Support Windows 2000-2003 servers and services.Support Exchange 2003 environment.Support AIX operating system for Pronto (ERP business system).Act as liaison and project coordinator for projects and customizations involving Pronto (ERP business system).Develop QlikView Business Intelligence solution using SQL.Develop reports and analytical solutions based on the needs of the business.Supporting mobile technology including RPC over http, PDA/Smart phones, Outlook Web Access, VPN technology for sales reps and two remote offices.Support IIS 6.0 running two ecommerce sites and and two .com sites utilizing MS SQL Server 2003 Lite.Responsible for handling software back ups and GFS rotation schedule.  (Iron Mountain)Maintain all printers and faxes.Procure all toner and ink for office equipment.Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills/Required Knowledge:2-3 years of System Administrator experience.Business experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.Able to remain flexible as business requirements and needs change.Must be able to manage and complete multiple projects in a timely and accurate manner.Unix (AIX) and SQL experience highly desired.Strong verbal and written communications skills.
