Monitoring, investigation and response for critical e-Business application, or service issues and Radiance True Delivery. (24x7x365) Escalate to appropriate Boeing resources those issues and / or problems that require specialized or restricted knowledge, tools or access, using documented Boeing escalation processes and procedures. Coordinate critical application and network restoration with internal and external service providers Investigate, correlate, isolate and engage incident management through final resolution and customer acknowledgement. Discover and communicate customer impact. Participate and support all organizational initiatives Track problems until resolved utilizing tools. Provide Critical Application and Services Second Level Infrastructure Escalation for Enterprise Help Desk. Assist in maintaining accurate process flows, infrastructure drawings and troubleshooting procedures for all supported critical applications or services Collaborate with other knowledge areas and partners to ensure process integration Provide cross-training (as required) to other personnel Performs moderately complex systems and database administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance. Oversees appropriate level software installations and upgrades and related software packages. Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes. Analyzes capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems. Coordinates with appropriate management personnel in implementing changes. Supports the design and configuration of complex system landscapes. Supports complex data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations. Plans, coordinates and directs appropriate level data refresh strategies. Oversees, recommends and implements appropriate level database solutions and enhancements to ensure an improvement in system reliability and performance. Oversees and applies appropriate support packages/patches to maintain system integrity. Develops and maintains appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current. Oversees the maintenance of a library of system-supporting process and procedure documentation. Interacts with client management to answer questions, problems and requests regarding complex system issues. Windows Server Administrator with Operations - Hazelwood, MOBasic Qualifications Experience working with complex system implementations and organizational processes shy;shy;Familiar with load balancing appliances, specifically F5 BigIP. Knowledge of UNIX/Windows 2000/2003 operating systems, Networking, including proxy gateways, and web-based application monitoring tools, problem determination utilities and problem analysis techniques Software development, computer systems programming, Java Knowledge is desirable, computer systems integration and database design, development and administration. Support a 7x24x365 production environment, which includes on-call responsibilities and off-hours/non-standard work week assignments. Must work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. Must be physically located in thefacility as required. As required, travel to the alternatelocations to support the operation.
