The Professional Services group is responsible for developing digital media delivery and service solutions for strategic mobile and broadband partners. Our own success is measured by the success of our customers. This is a very cool position working with the team supporting the Helix platform and Cingular video. They are looking to hire this person ASAP. Ideal candidate will be someone that has 2 to 3 years of experience. This person must be personal, a go-getter, able to communicate well and will lend their ideas to the team. Initiative, innovative, optimistic and being self motivated are all key attributes to this position. This position will at time require the candidate to participate on escalation calls at non working hours. Having a can do, positive attitude will be key.Job Requirements: Must Have Skills: Recent experience with Linux/Unix required (minor systems administration, installation, troubleshooting), Experience with Shell scripting (bash, corn, etc.), Experience with J2EE (Tomcat, Jboss) installation/administration, Knowledge of Apache server administration, WinXP/2003, troubleshooting (both system and application level), 24/7 availability for tier 2 support of production systems, must be able to travel (domestic and international), good communications and documentation skills, energetic and strong sense of initiative ('go get 'em' attitude) Desirable Skills (nice-to-haves): Familiarity with Oracle and basic SQL queries, basic Java development skills, Advanced Shell scripting, systems architecture/design, Advanced networking, system performance and optimization (both hardware and operating system), security (IPChains, etc.) Apply Now Location: SeattleStatus: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/ProjectJob Category: EngineeringCareer Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) About COMSYS COMSYS IT Partners, Inc.
