System Programmer/Analyst

A System Programmer/Analyst is needed in North Chicago, IL. The Programmer/Analyst will assist in the evaluation of client area application systems, programming requirements and processes (e.g. new, enhancements or maintenance); in the preparation of application program specifications; and in the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions.

 

The Programmer/Analyst will assist in the identification of business requirements and in devising system and programming alternatives and specifications. The Programmer/Analyst will study and analyze existing office procedures and prepare systems flow charts and logic diagrams to describe existing and proposed operations. The Programmer/Analyst will also code, debug and document programs.

 

The successful candidate should be familiar with SDLC methodologies. Good analytical ability and communication skills are required for this position.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-4 to 6 years of experience

 

-Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two or

 more years of experience in systems analysis and application program development

 or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

-Programming and application experience is required

 

-Architecture experience in Documentum Products, WebLogic and Sun Solaris UNIX

 is required

 

-Visual Basic development experience

 

-JSP, JAVA, DocBasic, C++, Oracle, WebLogic, iPlanet and Documentum experience

 Required
