Working Title – Systems Access Administrator



 



The Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC), a government agency with the State of Oklahoma, is seeking a Systems Access Administrator to join the Enterprise Support & Services group of the IT Division.

 

The successful candidate must be a “hands-on” technical leader. The candidate must be motivated and able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making capabilities while producing quality results in a fast – paced environment. System administration includes account setup and modification in MS Active Directory, Oracle, and IBM Mainframe/ACF-2 environments. Accuracy, integrity and completeness of data at all times is essential. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written are essential. Must be comfortable working in a team environment and have strong people skills and telephone etiquette.  Must be familiar with State and Federal laws regarding access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and Personal Identifiable Information (PII).  Must be able to establish, maintain and follow documented Security procedures and provide problem escalation information and status reports as required.

 

Job Responsibilities:Maintain Data Security, create and maintain user accounts in the following environments:  Microsoft Active Directory; Mainframe ACF-2; and Oracle. Provide top quality customer service by assisting customers with problems that occur with data access in the Windows, Oracle, and mainframe environments. Comply with and enforce agency computing and security policies. Assist in gathering information for audits by the IRS and other organizations. Work with representatives from other State Agencies and other organizations regarding the access of Tax Commission data. Act as a liaison between end-users, technical support staff and management.

 

Position Retirements:

 2+ years of Active Directory experience required. Experience with ACF-2 required. Experience with MS Exchange 2003/2007 administration desirable. Security Certifications CISSP, CISA, or CISM desirable. Experience in working with IRS personnel during an IRS Safeguard Review is desirable. Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university; and two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years experience in help desk or technical support is a plus. Thorough knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 applications. Microsoft certifications desirable. Detail oriented, flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Ability to interact with tact and diplomacy with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and organizational levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
