Description:

 

East View Information Services, a unique provider of diverse information products and solutions from all over the globe, seeks a Systems Administrator to augment its IT staffing and help provide reliable services to both internal departments and external customers. The individual we seek will have a solid background in server and network support as well as being able to speak and understand the Chinese language.

 

We serve libraries, governmental, and corporate clients all over the world. Our customers rely on us to provide accurate, reliable, and timely information solutions. A fast, effective and stable IT infrastructure is a crucial requirement for providing the level of service our customers expect.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for daily administration, support and maintenance of Data Center servers.

• Administration, support and maintenance of Fiber and an iSCSI SANs.

• Daily operation and maintenance of the back-up system

• Build, configure and install new systems and databases.

• Provide accurate documentation of applications, systems and network equipment.

• Work with other IT team members to help provide a high level of IT systems reliability.

• Respond as needed during off-hours to system failures.

• Recommend and implement new technology and migrate to new platforms.

 

Requirements:

 

• Ability to evaluate critical systems, prioritize work and determine solutions

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, IIS and SQL

• Experience working with fiber attached or iSCSI storage

• Experience working with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and VPN technology

• In-depth knowledge of MS operating systems

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills

• Ability to speak and understand the Chinese language
