Systems Administrator/IT Project Manager

A rapidly-growing and dynamic Twin Cities membership association is seeking an individual to oversee and manage its overall technology infrastructure.In addition, this individual will assist in developing and implementing the overall technology strategy for the Association in the areas of social networking and Web 2.0 applications.  Demonstrable experience in both areas is required.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years formal technical training, excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and organizational skills, as well as multi-tasking ability.  Strong interpersonal skills are a must.

 

Daily functions for this role include:Working with the CFO to develop and maintain smooth working relationships with the Association's major vendorsProviding technical and staff development support to the IT ManagerDeveloping and implementing a technology training program for the Association's staffOverseeing the Association's technology infrastructure, including the purchase of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipmentServing as a resource to Association members (potentially speaking at events about technology education issue of interest)Developing technology-based education and products for the Association's membersAssisting the CEO and CFO in the development and implementation of technology strategies based on the Association's strategic direction and operating plan
