Systems Engineer Team Lead

Position Summary This is a Systems Engineer Team Lead position on the Development Services team in Union NJ that is responsible for supporting the TriZetto Development Infrastructure.- Assists management in oversight of the daily workload and staff who support development. - Performs problem resolution, prepares and maintains reports. - Participates in planning and oversees workflows as required by management. - Participates on committees or project teams as assigned.- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the remote support staff.- Responsible for the first line management of help desk workflow distribution.- Tracks employee attendance, manages time off requests for inventory control and time reporting.- Assists in hiring, performance appraisal preparation, employee coaching, and problem resolution.Experience- 5-8 year’s tech support including Sys Admin/Sys Engineering. - Extensive exp with Active Directory including managing domains with Group Policy Management, DNS/WINS. - Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems including Windows 2003 Server, XP Professional, Vista.  - Expert with Microsoft BackOffice products, Java and web-based technologies and technical infrastructure, networking and network storage.- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Biztalk server.- Extensive experience with Vmware ESX and Virtual Center.- Knowledge of virus protection and central management.- Knowledge of Veritas backup applications.- Extensive experience with imaged based server provisioning with Windows operating systems, as well as other operating systems as required.- On call and after hours duties as necessary.
